FFBB 3x3 & Caisse d'Epargne
Brand Identity & Products design - 3x3 National Basketball Team
This visual identity is based on a strong graphic concept, combining a modern aesthetic with geometric shapes and a cultural aspect inspired by the graphic and urban arts, such as graffiti with spray paint or markers. The graphic concept is therefore a mix of abstract shapes representing the spherical forms found on basketball courts, such as hoops, balls, ground markings and the curves of the movements made by the balls.
I used the geometric shapes representing the world of basketball (traced below) to obtain this graphic universe, which then enabled me to create my entire graphic charter by creating the construction grids.
I wanted to emphasize :
- 3 strokes to represent the values of France, which are : Liberty, Equality and Fraternity
- 3 lines for the 3x3 and its floor markings, which delimit 3 zones: the hoop, the racket (with free-throw zone) and the 3-point zone.
Finally, the logotype is in the shape of a basketball, to emphasize the sport's universe and particularities, but also a fleur-de-lys to underline the identity of French basketball. The aim is also to create continuity with the message and values that the Caisse d'Épargne disseminates and transmits. This concept therefore takes into account the values of both the Caisse d'Épargne and French sport.

The visual identity also includes a monogram derived from the geometric shapes of the logotype. In fact, I isolated the logotype to find a recurring movement with continuity.
This monogram has four variations, a sober blue and white version with a slight contrast between the background color and the motif, and a more contrasting version of the same monogram where the motif stands out more from the background to be more visible and noticeable from afar.
